Stadium showcase
CWMBRAN Stadium has showcased its Olympic possibilities to a member of the London Olympic team.
Jean Tomlin, a member of the 2012 London organising committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, visited the stadium last week to watch local primary school children take part in a Dragon Sports netball tournament.
Ms Tomlin head of human resources and volunteering, wanted to see an event that had been organized by volunteers and to meet those involved.
During her visit she was also given a tour of the stadium.
Cwmbran Stadium has been identified as a training venue for the 2012 Olympic games.
